Key volunteers from the Lifeguard Committee, alongside senior members of staff from Paddle UK, have been jointly working over the past few months to establish appropriate support and future development opportunities of the Lifeguard Awards.
In March 2022, these awards will transition across to British Canoeing Awarding Body and over a 3-year period reviews will take place. The aim of this move is to take the strengths of both parties to review, develop and create up to date awards and qualifications that build on the existing ones.
