British Canoeing Awarding Body recruit a First Aid Working Group

British Canoeing Awarding Body is currently seeking members for a First Aid Working Group to support the BCAB Responsible Officer in their responsibilities for the Awarding Body. BCAB is looking for experts and specialists to help shape, advise and provide recommendations around the development of First Aid awards.

Members will be appointed to the First Aid Working Group on the basis of having strengths in the following areas:

  • A comprehensive understanding of mainstream education HE/FE experience;
  • Knowledge and experience of National Occupational Standards/Professional Standards
  • Commitment to British Canoeing’s organisational policies and procedures, and ability to work within these policies;
  • Willingness to work in line with the Values of British Canoeing.

Anyone that feels that they have the capacity and could support and advise British Canoeing Awarding Body in these specific areas will be required to complete an online application form on the link below. Please note, this is a voluntary role.

Members of the Working Group do not need to be members of British Canoeing or the National Associations.
