British Canoeing Awarding Body (BCAB) is pleased to announce that, due to meeting the criteria for recognition, the Regulated awards of Paddlesport Instructor, Coach Award and Performance Coach have been approved as ‘designated’ by Qualifications Wales and now appear on the Qualifications in Wales database. These awards are now designated as eligible for use on publicly funded programmes of learning which means that the education provider will be eligible for this funding from a Local Authority or Welsh Government.
BCAB is delighted with this development and, combined with its success in securing funding for the translation of the Coach Award into the Welsh language, is proud that its connections with its colleagues and learners in Wales continues to grow from strength to strength.
