Coaches play a key role in the lives of those they coach and the Code of Conduct applies to all those who help others achieve their goals through paddlesport.

You earn 5 CPD points by completing this British Canoeing Awarding Body eLearning. These will be added to your National Association record after completion. You will also be able to download a certificate of completion. 

This single-module eLearning covers the 4 key areas of the British Canoeing Code of Conduct for Coaching Workforce:

  • Rights – respecting and championing the rights of every individual to participate in paddlesport. 
  • Relationship – developing relationships based on openness, honesty, mutual respect and trust.
  • Personal Standards – demonstrating appropriate personal behaviour and conduct.
  • Professional Standards – maximising the benefits and minimising the risk to participants, by attaining an appropriate level of competence.
