It is essential that everyone has at least a basic understanding of what behaviour is appropriate, how to identify a safeguarding concern and be confident about how to respond, as well as about how to access support. This eLearning provides this.

It forms part of British Canoeing Awarding Body’s and the National Associations’ commitment to helping everyone in paddlesport accept their responsibility to safeguard children and adults at risk from harm and abuse and ensure appropriate training and education for coaches, leaders and deployers.

This eLearning is for anyone with limited contact with children or adults at risk. If you have regular contact with these groups, please contact your National Association for courses that provide such specialised training.

If you have already taken this eLearning, but your credential has expired, please try our Safeguarding Refresher course.
